Q: After a configured db.robot.c to run as service it stopped working correctly. What can I do?

A: If you are running VDV on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 and are having trouble with running db.robot.c as service you should start by stop running db.robot.c as service. Go to File Menu and click Run db.robot.c as Service and uncheck Run db.robot.c data processes as a Service. Next close all VDV applications and terminate MySQL database (mysqld) in task manager.

Right click on db.robot.c.exe and click Run as Admin and start the service again.

Q: After adding a new site to db.robot.c and immediatly adding another site. After the configuration process (selecting dat file and working with alias names and units), the last button "Finish" is gray and does not work. Why is that?

A: The db.robot.c is most likely busy importing data from last site you added. You can verify this by dragging the window (the one with the gray button) aside so you can view the front panel of db.robot.c. At the bottom of the front panel, you should take a look at the progress bar to see if it is working. If so, wait until it finishes.
