Features

A Variety of Components: A wide selection of components ensures that any type of data can be displayed on the VDV Dashboard. Furthermore you use the text box option to include your own html script.

Download data: Quickly take a look at the data behind your graph by clicking the the download button next in its corner. Your data-file will instantly download, ready for further inspection.

Live: The VDV dashboard shows your all your most recent data recordings so you always have your real time data at hand.

Responsive: The fully responsive dashboard ensures that you can effectively review your data on any screen size.

Zoom in & zoom out: You set your dashboard to display graphs for a certain period of time but you can also highlight the time period you would like to take a closer look at. This action will zoom in on the chosen time period.

Scroll between time periods: Your dashboard will display your default time period but you can easily scroll back and forth in time with a click of a button.

Components

Alarm Overview: This is a table that displays your triggered alarms, their variables, alarm limit and latest value. The Alarm Overview along with the VDV alarm messages make sure that you never miss critical measurements.

Wind Roses: Wind Roses are a powerful tool to analyze the distribution of data as a function of wind direction e.g. wind speed against wind direction.

Distribution Wind Roses: The Distribution Wind Rose adds the capability to plot any sensor readings as a function of the wind direction. User may for example set it to indicate the direction where from precipitation or contamination is coming.

Diurnal Graphs: A useful way to study data over a long time period, plotting the average of hourly values of all hours 0-1, 1-2…23-24 of the chosen time period on a 24h scale.

Histograms: A graphical presentation of the distribution of numerical data. Adjust bin width and switch between Frequency presentation and Occurrence presentation.

Numerical Indicators: A simple indicator showing the current value of your variable. The indicator can be customized in various ways. Adjust the size, font size, include the latest time stamp and unit. The background color of the indicator can be set to change if an alarm is triggered.

Photos: Add a photo or a slideshow with multiple photos. Use photos to display valuable information, site location, photos of ongoing work or any fun project related images you would like to share.

Real Time Displays: Further expand the overview given by a Dashboard by including Real Time Displays. RTDs show indicators on top of background images., they are very useful to show the location of sensors and the live indicator value layered on top of a photo or an illustration. A dashboard can include multiple RTDs in order to show a project from different angles or to show different locations in the same Dashboard.

Update Overview: The update overview is an important table which shows you if any monitored variable is not updating. In case a variable is not updating, VDV immediately sends out an alarm message and includes the variable that is not being updated in the the Update Overview table along with the relevant information. This lets you react in time and ensure seamless monitoring.

Webcams: It is simple to include a webcam in your dashboard and it will let you keep an eye on any changes in weather or on-site activity.

Text Boxes: The possible uses for text boxes in the VDV Dashboard are endless. You can use the text box to include a short project description, set forth project goals or deadlines, standards or descriptions. Using a simple html command you can include any web source in your text box. This could for example be your company web site or social media feed.
