Vista Data Vision offers 3 Toolkits that greatly enhance its capabilities. All Toolkits are designed to automate complex tasks and free up valueable resources.

Alarm Toolkit
Alarms is a very powerful feature that will simplify the operation of a network of dataloggers and ease the workload of the operators. Alarms can be sent as Email and/or Text Message to a cell phone.

Report Toolkit
The Report Toolkit allows users to create Automatic Report Summaries in World format and/or in text format. The Reports may be generated automatically once every day, week, month, quarter and/or year and sent as Email to contacts. Reports may also be generated manually as needed.

Validation Toolkit
Validation simplifies the time consuming task of having to review data to find and remove out of range data, noise and spikes.
Validation is used to automatically or manually repair the data in the database according to user defined boundaries. The user can define a maximum and minimum value, which if exceeded the validation toolkit will replace the value to a last known good value.

Every year, the well know Deltares Academy in Delft, Holland, runs 4 days course in geotechnical instrumentation for field measurements. In 2009, the dates are April 21st to 24th.

The course was set up in close cooperation with John Dunnicliff, a geotechnical instrumentation consultant with over 40 years of experience in this field. This is a three day course for practitioners, taught by practitioners. The emphasis is on why and how. The accent will be on instrumentation for monitoring performance during construction and operation rather than instrumentation to determine in situ parameters. The fourth day of the course is an optional day. In the morning there will be a discussion session on topics selected by the participants, in the afternoon the participants will visit the North/South Metro Line monitoring project in Amsterdam. Among teachers this year is Andres Thorarinsson, CEO of Vista Data Vision, introducing "Data Handling, Data Bases, Visualization and Reports".
