Weather Station

Vista Data Vision contains several features which allow you to analyze and process your weather station data.  If you are looking for a Weather Station Software to analyze your wind data or publish it to the web then Vista Data Vision is the right software for you.

Wind Rose
Vista Data Vision has 3 different Wind Roses to analyze Wind Direction Data: Basic Wind Rose, Vector Wind Rose and Filter Wind Rose.  Vector Wind Rose and Filter Wind Rose allow you to analyze Wind Direction data in relation with Wind Speed Data, Rain Data, Humidity Data or any other measured variable.  Read more.

Wind Energy
The Wind Energy report is used to estimate the Electrical Energy that could be produced if a wind-powered generator were installed using wind information from a given wind sensor but shifted up to a new level.  Read more.

Virtual Variables
Virtual Variables are used to create new calculated variables that are a mathematical function of one or more measured variables.  Virtual Variables are useful to rescale as well as to calculate results that were not calculated in the datalogger.  As an example: Easily convert a temperature measurement from Celsius to Fahrenheit or convert wind speed from m/s to mph, or use a more complex equation.  Read more.

Webcam
Vista Data Vision allows you to display pictures from your webcam on the web and view them side by side with your measured data.  Read more.

Reports
The Report Toolkit allows you to easily create summary reports from your logged weather station data.  The Reports may be generated automatically once every day, week, month, quarter and/or year and sent as Email to contacts.  Read more.

Weather Station graphs
Graphs from Vista Data Vision showing Weather Station data.  The first graph shows Air Temperature (°C) on the left axis and Humidity on the right axis.  The second graph shows average Wind Speed (black plot) and max Wind Speed (red plot) in m/s on the left axis and Rain in mm/15 minutes on the right axis.  The third graph shows Wind Direction.
Vista Data Vision monitors the data file from the data logger in the Weather Station and imports all new data into the database. The data is then instantly available on the web and in the db.data.browser on the desktop.
