The XY Graph (a Scatter Plot) is a flexible graphing reporting tool for plotting data pairs. It is very useful when analyzing the correlation between readings from two or more sensors. The XY-Graph may be used as an alternative to wind rose presentation, and to systematically compare sensor data when seeking hidden correlation.
Quite often it is useful and interesting to analyze sensor correlation using the XY Graph.
Few examples are:
- Weather: Humidity %RH against Wind Direction.
- Environmental Station: Pollution data against Wind Direction.
- Geotechnical: Tilt Data against Temperature.
- Pump Station: Pump Power against Flow.
